Posting pics

Ben do you know how to cut and paste withyour mouse?

I usually right click on what I want to copy, choose "copy" and then go to where I want to paste, right click, hit "paste" and theres what I copied.

However, I was told to left click on the link on my Fotki site and when I do, the word "copied" flashes real quick and the link does appear over here when I hit controlV or "paste".

I'm not seeing where it is pasted

A couple posts back, it's in the text area. I did it two or three times.

Then in your reply click it to post as you are doing then instead of reply hit preview....if the line of text your posting shows up then hit reply

Ok, There is another link below my picture that has the http in it. I says it's a link for instant messenger and something else.

I tried copying and pasting that one and got an error message on here stating that i'm not allowed to post that kind of link to this forum?

FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Good grief!!!! The problem was that I was choosing the wrong link. I needed to choose "direct link to picture"

I didn't click on that at first because I thought it would post a link to my picture rather than the picture itself.

I really appreciate all of you help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, trying your way again. I click "share" and then it goes to the next page but the phrase "more sharing options" is not listed. The only things it says are, "edit photos properties", "share photo", "add comment", "hotlink this image" and "close".

I did find the "image for forums" by choosing "hotlink this image". I copied it and tried to add it to the post and nothing happened?

Bit late here, but you click "share photo", as I mentioned before!

What you tried to do in post #34 didn't work because the /URL and /IMG tags were backwards.

should be like :[ URL=http://hotimg23.fotki.com/p/a/24_28/141_188/plumbing3.jpg][img ]http://hotimg23.fotki.com/a/24_28/141_188/plumbing3.jpg[/img ][/url ]

In a separate tab, go to each picture in your Flickr account that you want in the post, and one at a time grab their URLs to post here.

By the way, would you ever be willing to sell that Tamiya Wrangler?

LOL, no i've got plans for that one! (Don't we say that about all of them!) LOL

I did try that before I had made my previous post. I would go to a picture, open it, click on the link, hit back, choose the next pic, click on the link, etc, etc.

I then came back here and typed bracketimgbracketcontolvbracket/imgbracket but only one of the links appeard. I think it was the last one I chose while looking at my pictures?

You have to remember that copying on a computer means only one link (or whatever) will be copied at a time. As laborious as it is, you have to copy each URL here before going to grab the next one.

Ahh, I see. So I need to copy a link, paste it here, go back to my pics, copy a link, paste it here, etc, etc.
