Mercman Posted March 30, 2010 Posted March 30, 2010 I got this one in a trade about a year ago. I repainted it white, and added some details. You probably know where it will end up. The signs I made on the computer. All I have left to add is the air hose connections.
Jairus Posted March 30, 2010 Posted March 30, 2010 (edited) Nice! But why not Bud? Edited March 30, 2010 by Jairus
Mercman Posted March 30, 2010 Author Posted March 30, 2010 (edited) Nice! But why not Bud? My Bud logo is scaled at billboard size right now. I have more trucks yet so it's possible. Edited March 30, 2010 by Mercman
Railfreak78 Posted March 30, 2010 Posted March 30, 2010 As a Miller High Life drinker ( By choice not cause I can't afford "better") I think this is awesome! A Bud truck would be more the "norm". Same with Miller Light and such. Really cool model either way. It always crossed my mind to do a Pepsi truck or beer truck so was the trailer resin or scratch? Sweet rig.
Mercman Posted March 30, 2010 Author Posted March 30, 2010 (edited) The rig came a ready built model. I just disassembled it, and redid it. I used to drink Miller HL, and also Gen. Draft this is why I decorated it as such. Like I said I have a fleet of these small 1/87th trucks so more will be forthcoming. I also have some ready made Pepsi trucks in 1/87th, but they need detailing to make them look good. They are diecast like Matchbox type vehicles, so need different tires. Oh yeah you can get this trailer from Walther's, also a straight truck with the beverage box also. Check your local hobby shop that carries HO scale trains. Edited March 30, 2010 by Mercman
Railfreak78 Posted March 30, 2010 Posted March 30, 2010 I'm familiar with Walthers and have some catalogs I must of missed em. Thanks and cool topic I'll have to do some digging
george 53 Posted March 30, 2010 Posted March 30, 2010 Nice! But why not Bud? Caz Miller tastes BETTER! Remeber, " Less Filling, Tastes GREAT!!!" I guess we should be glad it's NOT "Millwaukee's Best" ( or Wallmart Brand!!!! )
