My work bench, one almost completed model,

two fresh from the purple pond with fresh coats of primer,my tv,walls etc.

were all victims of a wildly spraying spray can.

I accidentally knocked a can of spray primer from my workbench,

it fell about three feet onto the concrete floor and punctured!

And this is where it fell from, the corner of the bench

Luckily I have a abundance of thinner:o

That sucks. The worst part of it is, it got your project perty good. The other stuff is really not too bad. Actually, the T.V. looks nice with the speckels. B)

My model area is carpeted with shag, So stuff don't break when it falls off the bench, it just disappears. Good luck with the clean-up.

Hope you got a purple pond! That stinks, your project looked like you had a nice paint job on it!

The project was already cleared twice,I wonder(I hit the trunk with thinner,

it took off the primer and a wee bit of the base color)

if I hit it with thinner and a cloth and the spray a fresh coat if I could save it,

or is it just easier to purple pond it?

Ditto..

Never had a can puncture b-4.

(with out the help of a bb)

I've had a nozzle get stuck after a fall.

She won't let me paint indoors anymore, I can't see why ;):o

considering the situation, you had the frame of mind and calmness to shoot some pictures of this SNAFU then post the pictures to share with all of us.

That's coolness under pressure :)

Whoa, bummer dude. I once had a full size can of red emamel with a stuck nozzle that wouldn't stop spraying, even with the nozzle removed. I stuffed it into an empty garbage bag and held the top of the bag shut. As the can continued to empty itself, the garbage bag filled up like a balloon until it burst. Man, talk about a mess.

That's rough! I seem to end up in such a boat more than I should. I do know that some of the Krylons are easily removed with gasoline. You might try that. It may not affect the clear. Worth a shot, anyway. Good luck!

why not try polishing it off?

Jim,I am definitely try polishing it.I hadn't thought of that route and considering I have alot of new polishing material no better time then the present.

And if the polishing doesn't work I will heed Andrews advice.

Andrew,we're cursed by Murphy and his crazy law,one step forward, two back

please dont clean anything with gasoline!

what looks like the real drag here is cleaning up that interior and small parts on your bench.
