Greg Cullinan Posted April 20, 2010 Posted April 20, 2010 (edited) This is my first complete kit in four months. I'm building but I'm constantly stripping the paint looking for perfection. So I finished this at all cost which included paint peeling under foiling.(any clues?) It's a spray can finish so I just touched it up and called it done. Edited April 20, 2010 by ponyxpress

Guest Posted April 21, 2010 Posted April 21, 2010 Nice caddy. Not seeing the peeling issue, I do see some orange peel, which could be corrected with a polishing kit.
Harold Posted April 21, 2010 Posted April 21, 2010 That's one fine prairie schooner you got there. Nice color and execution .
dimaxion Posted April 23, 2010 Posted April 23, 2010 Nice project . What kind of primer did you use ? Back in the day , JoHans were hard to paint . John Hanneal used some strange mixes of plastic . Did you wash the parts (except the chrome) before painting ? It does look good and I like it . The orange peel I see in where the Vinyl Top is . I would like to believe you would keep the texture for the Vinyl . Thanx ..
