Modlguy Posted May 8, 2010 Posted May 8, 2010 Another terrific NNL put on by the MAMAS. Outstanding models and, as always, the chance to see our friends in the hobby and schmooze a little. Well done to Lyle and the members of the club.

Not until I got home did I realize that I missed getting a shot of this outstanding model.

cruz Posted May 10, 2010 Posted May 10, 2010 Here's the link to my Fotki page. http://public.fotki.com/Modlguy/mid-atlantic-nnl/ This is a picture of Bill Stillwagon showing how he built his custom Camaro. Not until I got home did I realize that I missed getting a shot of this outstanding model. Just to clear something, that is my model seen on this picture, Bill was using it to point out what he modified on his, as you well know, he took first place on the theme and once again, made me look like a fool!! It's hard to beat this man but it's also great to learn from him, as you can see, there's no secrets with him, he shares everything!!! Below is the picture of his outsanding work!!! Hosted on Fotki Thanks Bill for being, not only an outstanding modeler, but also a good friend!!!
Wheels Posted May 10, 2010 Posted May 10, 2010 (edited) It was a great time Saturday! It was good to talk with friends and fellow modelers! Sorry I missed you Dave. Hope your feeling better! Mr. Stillwagon continues to amaze me with his builds! I love this hobby because people are willing to share their techniques and that makes all better builders! Very Cool Camaro Cruz!! Thanks for your painting tips! Edited May 10, 2010 by Wheels
cotto Posted May 10, 2010 Posted May 10, 2010 Great show, I was very glad to finally meet you in person Cruz, I know you give Mr. Stillwagon a lot of credit but your work is amazing also, absolutely love what you did with your Hurts Olds and that little Rotary Powered Vega, you don't see that very often on the contest tables. Thanks also for all your painting tips, I will surely put them into practice. Hope to see you next year again if I don't make it to the Gilbertsville, PA show in September.
