Wayne Buck Posted May 10, 2010 Posted May 10, 2010 (edited) I was helping my mom clean out her attic a few weeks ago and I came across a box with some of my old builds in it. One of them was this 67 Camaro. I built this car the summer between 9th and 10th grade. Unfortunately, soon after building this, I lost interest in models for a while because I got my first real car. As you can see, she's pretty dirty and missing some body parts. It was also missing the hood, which was a stock hood that I cut out, so I threw this cowl hood on it that I had laying around. I didn't include any interior shots because it is SUPER dusty, but it has a full roll cage with a sheet metal dash and lenco shifters that I made with straight pins. Anyway, it's not the best thing I've ever built, but I thought some of you guys might enjoy it. Edited May 10, 2010 by NJ-Wayne
dencon Posted May 10, 2010 Posted May 10, 2010 Hey I like it!! Just clean it up and put it in a case on your shelf. You were thinking right when you were a kid, I can see there. I might like this model allot because it reminds me of a Camaro I worked on a couple of summers ago. So I might be a little partial. LOL! Cool model you built.

The car in your pictures looks pretty similar to my model! Even the battery shutoff switch is in the same spot! lol I think I'm gonna fit the hood a little better and paint it to match. Also, I have to try to find the missing front end pieces, looks kind of bad without them. I'll make sure she gets a spot on a shelf though. It looks pretty cool for what is is. By the way, I got your 74 Camaro kit in the mail yesterday and I love it! I started working on it already... Edited May 11, 2010 by NJ-Wayne
