Chuck Most Posted May 14, 2010 Posted May 14, 2010 I had a '66 LeBaron. That had to be a rare car over on the other end of the Atlantic! And a real joy to fill up!
Junkman Posted May 14, 2010 Posted May 14, 2010 That had to be a rare car over on the other end of the Atlantic! And a real joy to fill up! I'd say Imperials are rare anywhere. Still, I had twelve of them. Yes, a dozen. Eleven of them I restored.
Chuck Most Posted May 14, 2010 Posted May 14, 2010 They are pretty rare any place I guess, but I know of four in my immediate area- and I live about a mile north of the middle of nowhere. The sad thing is, two are '61/'62 models with the freestanding headlamps, and the guy is just letting them rust away under some trees.

Jon Cole Posted May 14, 2010 Posted May 14, 2010 As stated, the Black Beauty was based on that. Which ironically a movie remake is in the works... Let's hope the $2500 car fares better than the movie car (crash was allegedly not in the script)
