Im going to be starting another build in replacment for the gtx soon but i can decide which kit to get, both are by lindberg.

Either a 1964 dodge 330 super stock, i would build this custom of course.

Or a 2008 dodge charger superbee, again another custom.

Its a hard one, i know the quality of the 330 is very good and i love these old muscle cars but on the other hand i love the new style charger, expecialy superbees but i don't know the quality of the charger because iv never seen anybody build it. I can get these kits for the same price but its either one or other, you guys decide because i can't.

Get 'em both. There's always Ebay, but there's no guarantee either kit will be pressed again anytime soon, what with Lindberg seemingly teetering on-or-over the brink...

I can only afford one but im not getting them off ebay, my LHS is having a clearout of some kits that nobody bought, he has about 5 330s and around 15 superbees.

I'd say go for the 330. I love those old Dodges. Dan

Yeah, think i will go for the 330, i just hope this kit isn't warped too.

Hi,

Go with the 330.It is a great kit, but, if you are going to make it a street machine, you will have to add windshield wipers. As it being a S/S car it did not have any.

I made one as a street machine and it looks nice!!!

Il get a detail set for my mustang and use the metal wipers, no point in using them on the mustang because it has moulded ones.

Got any pictures of yours?

Yep go with the charger srt8.

It is beutifully molded, LOTS of pieces that fit great and it is a blast to build, it has steerable suspension too, but the wheels are a bit small.

It's a great kit, the paint got messed up on so that's were I left it for now.

Btw I'm building mine as the black srt8 from the movie street kings.

I'll get ya link to mine later.

Ah its such a hard decision haha.

I agree, that stealthy, aggresive nose really sets it off, i like the old muscle car kits but they annoy me with chromed parts...you know when you get the off the tree and theres a little bit of flash the you have to sand, then you end up repainting the bumper.

Yeah i found one build of the charger through google, the wheels are abit to thin and the rims are too small, perfect for a old muscle car i think.

Here's a link to mine thats still not done, but the interior and chassis are completely done.

Looks sick, another reason i want to get this kit is for that beautiful 6.1l hemi.

A famous car designer said "The perfect car must have both male and female characteristics.".....The charger definatly does, the front half of the car is male, the back half is female.

Good news guys, i can afford both kits, some resin parts for the mustang and paint, ebay sale sold for more then i was expecting.

Don't waste your money on a new car. They have nothing to offer, in my dinosaurian opinion! Old school is best!

Think your right, i find the older muscle kits eaiser to work on for some reason.

Ok final decision, decided to go with the colour me gone for £13 shipped and a revell 2004 impreza for £13 shipped.

I find it only right to do a subaru as i live in the UK, lots of them here, expecialy here in York.

Ok definate fonal decision haha...the subaru i was going to order, i had to buy it through amazon for £14 shipped so i thought well screw that il find another kit. I couldn't find another subaru round that price so i decided to go with the rally car i originally wanted, a revell mcrae/sainz kit. This is not only my favorite focus but its one of my favorite cars too.

This only cost £8 including postage, and its in the UK so it will get to me fast.
