Hello: Here is the final product of my most recent build....a 39 Chevrolet Street Rod from the Revelle 39 Low Rider kit. I m not a low rider guy so I converted this into a pretty straight up street rod. Build up pics are included in the on the bench section....here is the final product. Hope you like it.

Regards

Bill (Duntov)

I just got back into meodeling after a forty year+ break. I am amazed at the quality of craftmanship I am seeing on models such as yours.

I'm having trouble seeing so I bought one of those lighted magnifiers now I have to get used to it.

I'm starting out building a box stock 63 Ford. Simple paint and build projects for awhile till I get back in the saddle so to speak.

Beautiful build, real nice. I hope to reach your level someday.

Thanks Don:

I have been building for years......that said I use an "Ott-Lite" with a flip up bulb and magnifier extentsion (comes with the light) that really helps with the small stuff......hope to see your 63 Ford soon!!!

Very nice. What paint did you use?

Skip:

The paint is all Tamiya....straight from the can. Light gray primer undercoat......dried for about ten days and then sveral light coats of Tamiya Mica blue.....followed by a wet coat.......dried for about another ten days and a light rub out with Novus #2.

Thanks

Bill
