Jordan White Posted May 22, 2010 Posted May 22, 2010 Just finished this one up yesterday. Here's what it started as: And here's how it ended up: Decided to paint the headlights red, like Grave Digger's (since the headlights were fogged up from when they were first glued). Interior: Engine: Chassis: The additions I've done are: -changing wheelie bars and coil springs to leaf springs -scratchbuilt a B&M Z-gate shifter
Jordan White Posted May 24, 2010 Author Posted May 24, 2010 Yeah, I was happy how it turned out. Now I can't wait to see how it will look with the truck I'm building to tow it.
Guest Johnny Posted May 25, 2010 Posted May 25, 2010 I don't know what it is or why it is but I always seem to get more pleasure out of rescuing an old model that someone else tosses away more than a new build! Also seems that is what some of my best work is! Nice save!
John Teresi Posted May 25, 2010 Posted May 25, 2010 Johnny......I totally agree with you......I just love to fix up tossed away models or use the spare parts.....great job on this build.
