Just started on this one, daily driver type truck

So far all i've done is, stretched an old blazer chassis & a bit of mock up.

The axles are a bit wide (1/24),but i can live with it

Thanks guys

Nick, the axles are from the monogram chevy stepside 4x4 kit.

James, haven't decided on a color yet, any suggestions?

Personally I would have re-arched the springs and attached taller shackles to give it a bit more lift. Looks kinda tame sitting at stock height!

As far as color, I think a nice bright red would look great on it. Of course you would have to make sure to have a white base coat for it to really pop.

Looks good so far it could use a little lift to make it look better

I'm going for a mild stocker look,I have another truck & parts to build a high-lift later :lol:

Where did you get that topper?

From me. :) They come in the OOP AMT Snapfast C1500 Ext. Cab. It's not shown on the box, but it comes with it.

Id say paint it the pewter color. Like the champaign gold you see the newer 2500Hd's running around with. Too bad nobody made the newer 8 lug GMC wheel that comes stock on the newer 3/4 tons.
