thanks everyone! this was a really simple kit, about 50 parts or so i had it done in about a week with all my prep, painted yesterday morning and had it altogether by 4pm

I wonder, too. I didn't really have any problems with mine. I don't recall any real issues with the body.

I wasn't aware the kit was poorly molded, but more importantly, Kyle, it is not a Barris custom. The Monkeemobile was built by Dean Jeffries.

Your right Danno, I don't know what crack I was smoking...lol.... But my kit was one of the worst I ever built. The front clip just did not even come close to fitting without a lot of putty, and the interior of this car is full of sink marks, I think this kit just needs to be retooled,IMO.

It went together real easy and looks great!

Sorry to say, but this was about the simplest kit I've ever built !! Didn't have any of the fit problems spoken of,
