Jared Roach Posted May 28, 2010 Posted May 28, 2010 I found this site browsing the s10 forum, and thought there was some cool stuff. http://my.net-link.net/~dcline/l_s_misc.htm My favorite is the IH conversions.
Jared Roach Posted May 28, 2010 Author Posted May 28, 2010 Opps, that was just one page, here's the home page: http://my.net-link.net/~dcline/limoclas.htm
Jon Cole Posted May 29, 2010 Posted May 29, 2010 That is an excellent source for stretch limousine pics. Let me share some pics I have collected: Cadillac: http://public.fotki.com/JCole/11_chevy__gmc/11-cadillac-limos-h/ Lincoln & Mercury: http://public.fotki.com/JCole/11_fomoco/11-lincoln--merc-li/ All the rest... http://public.fotki.com/JCole/limos--no-caddys-or/
Jim Gibbons Posted May 29, 2010 Posted May 29, 2010 Thanks for sharing this link. Funny how life works; yesterday, I was sitting on my porch with a friend, and there was a wedding at the church up the street. The limo that carried the wedding party was an unbelievably long Cadillac Escalade with four rear wheels. I related to my friend about a very large family I knew years ago whose car was a Checker Airporter wagon. Hadn't thought about it in years, now twice in less than 24 hours!
Joe Handley Posted May 29, 2010 Posted May 29, 2010 I've seen Escalades and H2's like that around here, there's even been a Charger Limo running around here a couple times too
Jon Cole Posted May 30, 2010 Posted May 30, 2010 Wouldn't it be fun to hire out a Hummer Limo.... dare the driver to "boon" it? Of course, it could be a long walk back to civilization. What's the point of stretching a four wheel drive truck, if it cannot handle the off road? I mean, that's like having a woman without.... um, ya'kno... yeah.
Jon Cole Posted May 30, 2010 Posted May 30, 2010 Considering that the two Hummers in my town are driven by women, & knowing the women themselves, the Hummers' not being stretched doesn't get it any closer to off road. Having looked inside the Hummer one of them has, there's no way I'd buy a cramped, bloated, overpriced piece of junk like that. Good point. I have also seen a number of them driven by women. But then again, there was only one real Hummer, the H1. The H2 is a tarted-up Chevy, and the H3 is... embarrassing.
