Yes, the title is true. Starting tomorrow (June 14, 2010) for a week, Hobby Lobby will be having 30% off all plastic kits and die casts.

Went yesterday, the cupboards were bare. Not only were they cutting back (less space devoted to cars and aircraft/armor) but there were a bunch of empty spots. My report on the north Phoenix (Arrowhead) store.

I was at the Ocala, FL store last week and they were remodeling the whole plastic/die cast area.

Remodeling the Plstic/Die Cast area here in Huber Heights (North Dayton) as well. But I see they do have more tools in the mix, railroad equipment has clearanced, and more plastic is on the way.

i saw they had the 69 superbee online (the revell kit)

its a 2n1 kit, is this any good ?

i mean, does it have nice wheels, tires and such ?

My local Hobby Lobby has had the same old stuff for I don't know how long. And the other day I stopped at my local Micheals armed with a 40% off coupon and the same scenerio there too. I couldn't buy anything off their shelves if I had an 80% off coupon. Just the same old kits. Of course the employee working on the model car shelves said that they will be getting new stuff soon. Yeah, probably about the same time I win the lottery!

Our store has a major resetlot of cars are gone but looks like a lot is left....larger paint section as in colors by boyd, model master, Some new stuff that has two quick builds and paint in a package. getting 1:32 models and more tools. This is central Ar, I have not checked the other two HL, and michaels
