Harry P. Posted June 21, 2010 Posted June 21, 2010 Can anyone explain them? What in the wide world of sports is going on?
Steve Keck Posted June 21, 2010 Posted June 21, 2010 Can anyone explain them? What in the wide world of sports is going on? Those are the tools and materials reguired to scratch build wire axles from coat hangers. Excellent tutorial. Don't miss it. Steve
Karmodeler2 Posted June 28, 2010 Posted June 28, 2010 I was wondering about that myself. You guys have been moderating too much (thanks to a few) and not building enough. I know what the stuff is in that one photo because I have done what he is getting ready to do. Those are brass parts, that have been either scratch built or bought (I think the lanterns are bought), and he has the wire connecting them so that when they are plated, the wire will carry the current necessary to have the plating stick to the part. The parts look really nice, and I'm sure they will be nicer chromed!!! David

There was a picture of pliers, a picture of a coat hanger, and a couple other oddball photos that made no sense.
Gregg Posted June 28, 2010 Posted June 28, 2010 I know exactly which one's Harry is talking about. I was worried they were part of a spam war
Terror Posted June 28, 2010 Posted June 28, 2010 I was wondering how that(gallery images) works? Are they random pics from all the forums, cause I don't see a gallery forum?I'll take that answer off the air, thanks.LOL
Len Woodruff Posted June 29, 2010 Posted June 29, 2010 Speaking of that who posted the "bundle of snakes" in the Gallery and then did not produce a tutorial to go with it. Ring that boy up and tell him what his responsibilities are!
Steve Keck Posted June 30, 2010 Posted June 30, 2010 They were part of a new electronic Rorschach inkblot test. Stay tuned for your personal analysis.
