Kaleb Posted July 8, 2010 Posted July 8, 2010 (edited) Just a thought. There have been some great tricks and tips that get lost. What about making a special place for the best ones,if there are multiple of one tip take a vote and pin the top vote. Just curious cause I find some very helpful and if I need to find them quickly. Jon Cole Posted July 8, 2010 Posted July 8, 2010 use the search function....it works pretty well. Actually, I have had a hard time using search. I recently tried to find an old post of mine using the year and brand of car I used in the topic title. I could get one, or the other. Not so easy finding both together. So I tried using a "plus" sign (+) between each. Still no luck. With blank spaces, or without, didn't make any difference. Apparently I am still a 'puter doofus.
Greg Cullinan Posted July 8, 2010 Posted July 8, 2010 I agree it would be cool if everything was kept togeter and on first page. In the meantime I will keep bookmarking them! My bookmarks on my laptop are in a model folder with 5or6 subfolders- reference, kits, tools, parts, forums and so forth.
Kaleb Posted July 9, 2010 Author Posted July 9, 2010 I use the search function It works and I think Ill use your idea greg and put the best ones in a sub folder. Thanks

Ex: 1966 Chevelle yields 1966 stuff and Chevelle stuff, so try "1966 Chevelle".
