Jim Gibbons Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 Glad to hear you're doing well...before you know it, you'll be at the bench again! I really want to get my new hips, but have to face a couple of other surgeries before they'll even thing about it. Ugh.
Tony T Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 Good to hear you got through it well. Now the recovery...take it easy, and you'll be dancing a jig before ya know it!! Take care!!
The Modeling Hermit Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 Johnny, it's good to hear that you're doing better. My brain doesn't work as well as it used to. I wonder if a brain replacement would make a difference?

I wonder if a brain replacement would make a difference? Give them time! I just want them to add a second one so I won't be talking to myself all the time!
george 53 Posted July 12, 2010 Posted July 12, 2010 Like Mike-O is sayin, Just listen to your Pt and put your all into it, an you'll be back to normal before you know it!
Guest Johnny Posted July 12, 2010 Posted July 12, 2010 Doin' my exercises 4-6 times a day now! Still cannot lift my leg up off the bed but can if it is elevated on the pillows. Because it is Medicare they would not let me bring home the passive exercise machine that helps restretch the muscles and they will not allow for at home physical therapy. Hopefully they will for out patient physical therapy after I am cleared to leave the house. I see the Doc on Wed. and get the staples out and he will give me futther instructions. But I am following his orders to a tee! Just taking it one day at a time!
Guest Johnny Posted July 12, 2010 Posted July 12, 2010 Glad to see ya back up and runnin'! Thanks Chuck! Problem is I keep falling asleep and have twice bounced my head off the desk! That hurts!!!
