slapshot Posted July 11, 2010 Posted July 11, 2010 I found a better use for my wife's jewelry cleaner container & thought that I would pass it on. ( stripping chrome parts with bleach)
charlzrocks Posted July 12, 2010 Posted July 12, 2010 Awesome idea! I always have problems with my parts floating to the top and that basket would hold em under long enuf so I don't have to turn em like meat on the grill!
Dragline Posted July 12, 2010 Posted July 12, 2010 I honestly think Amonnia is better at stripping chrome guys. I suggest you try it. Bob
charlie8575 Posted July 12, 2010 Posted July 12, 2010 I like bleach in a glass jar, myself, but it's interesting that the jewelery cleaner will strip chrome. Makes me wonder how safe it really is for jewelery. Charlie Larkin
Dragline Posted July 12, 2010 Posted July 12, 2010 I don't think he uses the solution Charlie, just the jar and basket. Bob
