I got this kit lastnight and was challenged to build a factory stock build.Plans are to make it look like its fresh off the desplay floor loaded with every option that was availible for that year.

The color is german silver and im thinking of doing a tan suade interior. I find this to be harder then building lowriders but it is interesting i may have to do more factory stock builds.

Those Jo-Han classics are a joy to build. I have a couple.

Kevin, may I offer a suggestion? Silver and any brown/tan/beige shade generally do not go well together from my experience. A very appropriate combination would be red leather. Testors flat red with a couple of drops of flat black generally looks very nice for a dark red leather. The floors would have a slightly lighter (read: straight out of the bottle) carpet and the dash should be woodgrained with chrome/nickel trim.

Your work is very good and I enjoy seeing it.

I offer this up for inspiration purposes. This is box stock. I did lower the back end a little to get the right look.

Good luck on this project. Keep us posted. How about a 500K hearse next?

Kevin, I just picked up one of those kits a few weeks ago so I'll be watching this build to see how you do it.

Harry, thanks for posting those photos because now I don't have to do the work to get them. :D:P

Andy, thanks for posting the one you built, it looks awesome!!
