Terry Sumner Posted July 30, 2010 Author Posted July 30, 2010 (edited) Except for the things you already know(valve cover emblems, air filter), I think they're very nice indeed. That '32 just looks soooooo right....or maybe it's just ME, tired of lookin' at rat rods! It's nice to see a well done street rod. S N J polishing powder is the only thing I've found that makes a bigger mess on the workbench than flocking. Man you got that right about SNJ powder!!! LOL And thanks...I'm not a fan of rat rods either...both model AND 1:1. On an unrelated note...I had to laugh at your sig line. Something like that actually happened to me in real life. Back in 1978 or 79 I was working an overtime shift on I-84 in the East Hartford area. Alongside the highway was this mini-mall and a sign on one of the areas that said, "Something or other Health Club". Well I was heavy into bodybuilding at the time...being a young Trooper and all, so at lunch time I decided I would pay the health club a visit and see what kind of equipment they had in there to work out with. I wanted to know if they had weights and stuff or was it one of those aerobics places. Well in I go...."in uniform" (I was a Connecticut State Trooper)and what do I see? No weights, no machines, no aerobics floor mats....nope! I see good looking women lounging around some couches and chairs, all dressed in lingierie. Apparently just waiting for a guy like me to walk in wearing REGULAR clothing! The look of surprise was priceless on my face as well as theirs when a fully uniformed State Trooper walked in. I remember saying, "Ummm...this isn't a gym is it?" The "ladies" replied simply, "No it's not sir!" A quicker exit was never made! LOL Edited July 30, 2010 by Terry Sumner
