stewart Posted August 3, 2010 Posted August 3, 2010 (edited) This is a build I just finished. This is a project that I have had in mind for a while. I have seen salt flats cars with something like 8 turbos and 4 supercharges so I figured I could do a turbo supercharged street car. I wanted this to have only mild body mods so I only shaved the door handles, inhanced the hood scoops/ bulge, and made a custom rear wing. The wheels will be Pegasus 23" chrome T's so the look will be fairly stock. Paint is Rust-oleum satin black. I filled in all of the panel lines and smoothed out the C-pillar transition to the rear deck. The exhaust is from aluminum tubing with brass tubing "mufflers". The suspension is going to be independent. I will be doing as this will not be a drag car but more of a road racer. Twin whipple superchargers and twin turbos are on it. (There actually is a reall '09 challenger with twin superchargers and 1000hp. Just google 1000hp challenger) Wheels and the rear suspension Here are the completed pics. Just a little more to do actually Engine pics. Those screens are the air filters for the turbos. Edited August 3, 2010 by stewart
stewart Posted August 3, 2010 Author Posted August 3, 2010 Exhaust Interior pic from in front. Not too great but you can see the fire extinguisher and nos bottles. Hope you like it. Stewart
stewart Posted August 3, 2010 Author Posted August 3, 2010 (edited) Here are some pics of the interior. Nitrous bottles are plumbed but I still have to paint the fire extinguisher, the steering wheel and column, and add the gauges. Engine Edited August 3, 2010 by stewart
Chuck Most Posted August 5, 2010 Posted August 5, 2010 That double-blown Hemi would make a great street rod engine, it's almost too pretty to cover with a hood!
