MoparWoman Jamie Posted August 12, 2010 Posted August 12, 2010 (edited) Okay, I found places on the site for almost each model thing BUT what the heck do I post Monster truck photos at though? I can't seem to find the area for that. Edited August 12, 2010 by m0parman
MoparWoman Jamie Posted August 12, 2010 Author Posted August 12, 2010 Not being a smart alec...but why not "Model Trucks?" Well, I'm not trying to be a smart alec either, but what I am in the process of working on isn't really a truck, but it is a monster though. But i did just found a area in the far bottom of Model Trucks that I was looking for. I have no idea why my dang pc didn't show me that before it onlt showed me two areas in the Model trucks area before. Just after I posted the thread here the pc then showed me 3 areas down there
Joe Handley Posted August 13, 2010 Posted August 13, 2010 Probably will have to stick them in the Truck portion for now. Depending on what the new forums will be like and the style of Monster Truck, that could make a difference. If they put in a section specifically for "Competition Vehicles" as well as "Trucks" and or "Light Commercial" (including cop cars and the like), ect that could allow for the different style of Monsters to be put in different forums. If it's the original style ladder frame/leaf spring/steel body truck, those would be more likely to be a good fit on the "Truck" section, however modern tube frame, 'glas bodied "truggy" monsters can be technically be considered a competition or race vehicle and be pretty appropriate for a "Competition Vehicle" forum. It's not like they aren't less technologically advanced than some forms of race cars anyway
ABC Auto Industry Posted August 13, 2010 Posted August 13, 2010 I think, regardless of whether it's an old metal-body truck or a newer fiberglass-body truck, any monster trucks with a pickup, SUV or van body should go under the "Pickups, SUVs, Non-Commercial Trucks" section & any monster truck with a big rig body should go under the "Model Trucks" section. And yes, there have been monster trucks based on big rigs in real life, for example, "Super Pete".
