im planing on doing a few boat hulls and need some motors. id prefer older style motors but i dont rememb er any

Once upon a time, the Danbury Mint made a diecast 1:24 Boston Whaler 13-footer with a Mercury outboard, circa 1959-60.

Only available now on eBay or other places. Pricey, at about $120.

For newer boats (1990s), you could adapt a Corvette LT-1 for a MerCruiser sterndrive (I/O), since that was the base engine.

Revell did a River Rat kit that had a Chevy Luv and a small outboard boat and being done in the early 80's or even the late '70s, it wasn't all that modern. It might be worth a lookup. I've been looking for one of the boats and trailers but had no luck yet.

i have cast some parts for the 50s-60s 1/18 scale boat motors..man, those things are expensive! im looking to do a few 50s-60s- glass boats in resin/styrene. george, if ya think about it, bring em to the meatin...
