John Teresi Posted August 31, 2010 Posted August 31, 2010 Fine looking build......that interior is SWEET.
Sixties Sam Posted August 31, 2010 Posted August 31, 2010 Very nice! The chop really makes the model. Good job! Sam
ewaskew Posted September 4, 2010 Author Posted September 4, 2010 (edited) As requested more photos, hope you like them. I did'nt take any eng.photos because in this kit Alt.& AC units float in the air. I will build another one with all details and scratch built custom brackets on the engine. Thanks for all of the comments. Earl Edited September 4, 2010 by ewaskew
crazyjim Posted September 5, 2010 Posted September 5, 2010 I'm trying to figure out the fantastic interior. Looks like raised panels on the sides and seats and then flocked?
ewaskew Posted September 5, 2010 Author Posted September 5, 2010 The interior is made using [Creatology Fun Foam.] I bought it at Hobby Lobby,Michael's may have it. The foam comes in a lot of diffrent colors. Elmers multi-purpose spray adhesive holds it in place on plastic. Clean the plastic but do not paint or prime it. This interior is raised padding because it is glued right onto the panels. This is my first one so the bugs will be worked out on the next one. Thank's again for all the comments. Earl
DRG Posted September 5, 2010 Posted September 5, 2010 Never was able to get a chopped top to look right though it sure works for you on this model. looking good.
