larman Posted September 2, 2010 Posted September 2, 2010 I built this Beer Wagon while on vacation in Florida. I painted the main parts with Tamiya Camel Yellow before we left. The model is basically box stock with some detail painting, but I did change the interior color to red. I also added red flocking for carpeting. This is the first Show Rod I have ever built in around 30 years of model building...I must say it was kinda fun! Thanks for looking! -Larman
Chuck Most Posted September 2, 2010 Posted September 2, 2010 Very cool- this is on my 'gotta build this one day' list!
Guest Johnny Posted September 2, 2010 Posted September 2, 2010 It's good to see a non PC version built! (ie Beer Wagon not RC Wagon ) The old customs like it, IceT, etc are all cool to see built! Somewhere stored I have a Tijuana Taxi I built as a kid! Good job on a cool old themed kit!
Raul_Perez Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 Yeah...those show rods are a lot of fun to build!! Thanks for sharing,
sobpinstriping Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 I love old show cars, thats all I've been building lately. I built that when i was a lil kid im going to have to get it again. You did a great job on that one! cheers mat
Jon Cole Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 Hey! This is a nice surprise! I usually cringe at the thought of looking at a show rod... but this one is sharp!
charlzrocks Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 I gotta admit that most of these show rods look absolutely absurd! I guess that's why they are so much fun to build, . The beer wagon looks cool with your changes!!
