Smart-Resins Posted September 4, 2010 Posted September 4, 2010 That looks terrific! Nice job. Wich kit was it and wich chassis did you use? Thanks.
pharr7226 Posted September 4, 2010 Posted September 4, 2010 I really like the paint, stance and wing. How about the engine pictures?
envious8420 Posted September 4, 2010 Posted September 4, 2010 Great build! where did you get the dupont decals?
crowe-t Posted September 4, 2010 Posted September 4, 2010 Beautiful build! Can you post some 'in-progress' pictures? I'd like to see the chassis and the roll cage.
ewaskew Posted September 4, 2010 Author Posted September 4, 2010 (edited) Here are some more photos,as you can see this is a basic slam kit,it started out to be a lot of details. I just have to many unfinished kits and I'm triny to just get them done. I am building other pro mods and they will have scratch built roll cages and eng frame tubing. I will take WIP photos to pass on. This was my first roll cage and I need to improve on building them. Like every stage of building I get to,it starts out rough like this one and improves on the next one. As for the dupont and all other race related decals they are from a Revll #24 stock car. As for decals I figure if it fits the panel and do'nt look tacky it will work. I hope they do'nt delete my good photos due to the 3 photo limit these are added for those who requested them. The Camaro is Revells,Yenko.Donor kit for the frame is AMT's 66 Nova Pro Street.Engine from Revell's 55 Pro Sportsman Roll cage is .080 solid plastic rod from evergreen. Thank you to everyone for your comments. Earl Edited September 4, 2010 by ewaskew
1320wayne Posted September 4, 2010 Posted September 4, 2010 Very nice build. Stance looks good. More like a 10.5 car than pro mod but looks great nonetheless.
