Those Honeycomb wheels look awesome.

if I remember correctly, lots of guys ditched those.

they were incredibly heavy.

VERY nice Build,B. you dun 'er GOOD! GREAT color combination. I actually knew someone who had a 72 GTO in that same combo! Very nice car, and model too!!!:mellow::lol:

Knowing how substandard that kit is, parts and detail wise, your completed model is incredible! I'm especially fond of the color- it just pops on that old goat!

I like it alot!what color is the paint? and did you have to make any modifications to get the 69'olds chassis to fit under the GTO?

Thanks guys..the color is a mix I made, I believe the chassis swap was pretty easy although I'm sure I had to do some trimming here and there :P

A great choiceof colour and wheels! The car looks so right in that colour!!!!!!!!! You need to tell usmore about the build - more detail as to what you did and how you utilized the different chassis.. please do so.. :unsure::lol::lol:

Well I wanted to build a decent '72 and after looking at the gto kit I knew "out of the box" wasn't going to cut it! I just happened to think of the 442 kit and measured the chassis on a built one and saw it would work fine..I did make some mods, but I kind of do this as I go along :lol: I ordered the correct grill inserts and the honeycolmbs usual motor detailing, shabo transfers, made the channels for the airscoop, here's a coupla wip pics.
