bsoder Posted September 10, 2010 Posted September 10, 2010 Well Chuck I heartily agree with your philosophy and it looks much better this way!!
John Teresi Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 Chuck......luv everything about this one......this is some serious eye candy.
impcon Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 Very pretty! I can't say as I ever recall seeing that kit on the store shelves but mind you, I was more into Chevy and Ford convertibles and hardtops back then. I have some old Lincolns packed away - I think that they are early '60's.. They were a pretty enough car and undoubtedly VERY comfortable and smooth. Nice job!
Tommy Kortman Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 "Build 'em all...let God sort it out!" Wait...that's not right. Anyway Chuck, that is a sweet ride. I love the color and the stance. Another nice job sir.
Chuck Most Posted September 13, 2010 Author Posted September 13, 2010 Update! Reposted the pictures so they actually show up again!

Raul_Perez Posted September 14, 2010 Posted September 14, 2010 You gotta love those old landyachts!! Nicely done...and I applaude you for building the kit rather than leaving it tucked away in a box where no one can see it!! Thanks for sharing,
lowriderphil Posted September 16, 2010 Posted September 16, 2010 I'm digging it. I build this 67 from an unpainted glue bomb
Harold Posted September 16, 2010 Posted September 16, 2010 (edited) Looking good, Chuck. Apparently, AMT thought they could fool people into thinking that hoary old MEL 462 could be made to took like the 46o. Nice job. Here's my '65 from two years ago. The front and rear sections were cut from the '62 T- Bird with the central floorpan from the Lincoln. The engine compartment is also from the 'Bird. Edited September 16, 2010 by Harold
Chuck Most Posted September 16, 2010 Author Posted September 16, 2010 Ha! Know what's funny, Harold? The '69 kit engine is a better looking MEL than the one in the '65 kit!
Harry P. Posted September 17, 2010 Posted September 17, 2010 Just one question... is that a vinyl roof that you ignored and painted body color??? Looks like it, but like Dennis Miller says, "I could be wrong"...
disabled modeler Posted September 19, 2010 Posted September 19, 2010 Hey Chuck I like it... There for building too, I have many I am going to build/rebuild that were my dads and will be factory stock for most of them or at least I hope so .
Railfreak78 Posted September 19, 2010 Posted September 19, 2010 I love the suicide 4 door Lincolns! Great job! I like every aspect of this car.
Chuck Most Posted September 19, 2010 Author Posted September 19, 2010 Thanks guys! Oh- Mark- try viewing it from alternate angles... THAT will really mess with your head! Harry- Ignored? No. Color matched? Yes!
