Hattley Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 The right image behind a build makes all the difference in the world. This was just a stock photo mounted to foam board, with sand and a mist of spray paint for extra color and detail.
charlie8575 Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 Nice work on the base, an an interesting choice of background photo. A well-worn racer, too. Charlie Larkin
Hattley Posted September 22, 2010 Author Posted September 22, 2010 Thanks, you know I liked that image so much that I framed a copy of it also. Nice work on the base, an an interesting choice of background photo. A well-worn racer, too. Charlie Larkin
ronr Posted September 23, 2010 Posted September 23, 2010 Cool backdrop. Like the weathered chevy also.

george 53 Posted September 23, 2010 Posted September 23, 2010 Mark, after lookin at it for a minute, I realized it's a SLOT CAR!!! What a great job you did on it! It looks GREAT! There's a slot car track near my house, and Some of the guys here are REAL into them. Check out Trans Am Erik's posts on his Blue Max racer, over in Slot/Raceing cars.
