Turbo590 Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 Jerry, The GMC General is leaning to be my favorite one out of them all. Nice work, Kurt
phoneguy Posted October 3, 2010 Author Posted October 3, 2010 The trailer is a cut down moving van--I did the "chop suey" on 2 of them. I did learn a few thing of of it, so if I do it again, I know what not to do. I should have taken some out behind the axle.
cowboysevens Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 with the axles where they are your getting better wheight distribution, lol but i can see where you would want them back a lil more. do you have a set of doubles everything, lol? hope ya know im gonna be hitting you up for tips on biulding the double tanks! dennis
Scott S Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 Neat fleet.. my fav's the Crackerbox, mostly cause i have a 1:1 thats orange to boot..lol Scott
phoneguy Posted October 9, 2010 Author Posted October 9, 2010 A few small updates. The 9500 is just about done, and decided a flatbed would look good behind it. Minor work left on the flatbed. Got a little more done on the Crackerbox. Sourkraut had the 6-71 Detroit that I thought would be perfect for it. And that's it for now.
cowboysevens Posted October 9, 2010 Posted October 9, 2010 hey jerry is that "heavy haul" trailer a RGN (removable goose neck) ? that 9500 and flatbed look good together, nice job. dennis
Mr. Moparman Posted October 9, 2010 Posted October 9, 2010 That fleet looks good! Might just buy me a couple of Revell Pete 359's and start my own fleet.
SpreadAxle Posted October 9, 2010 Posted October 9, 2010 I figured you were going for the 6-71. Very appropriate for that truck.

phoneguy Posted October 12, 2010 Author Posted October 12, 2010 chuggin' right along. Yellow is now in the fuel business. Also got a couple of things done on the General.
phoneguy Posted October 22, 2010 Author Posted October 22, 2010 "I see yellow trucks" Calling it finished on the Yellow fleet (for now).
Jim B Posted October 22, 2010 Posted October 22, 2010 Fleet looks really nice. The General came out really well. There's just something about the GMC General for me. Nostalgia, I guess. All those GMCs and a lone Ford.
