Twist67 Posted February 20, 2007 Posted February 20, 2007 Hi there, inspired from my other old Ford heavy duty truck I started to build one of those old COE trucks.I used Revell´s 56 Ford F-100 model for the base, cutted away the fenders, made some cutting to the cab to match the fenders and started to scratchbuild the hood.I want to built those wide fenders and the steps etc.I want to scratch the frame for that truck and a lot of things more. Here is on first picture. Thx for looking and please tell me what you think about. Cheers,Chris
carsntrucks4you Posted February 20, 2007 Posted February 20, 2007 Hi Chris, the hood isn't round enough. The rest looks quite good. Melde Dich bitte per PN bei mir. Regards
ratrodder Posted February 26, 2007 Posted February 26, 2007 Yeah, I think the hood needs reshaping a little in the front but man, a great start on a hard project. I started a 41 chevy coe about a year ago and I still can't come up with a hood that looks right. Back in the box till I can think of something else to make it out of.
phoneguy Posted February 27, 2007 Posted February 27, 2007 off to a good start!!! can't wait to see more pics.. Jerry
Aaronw Posted February 27, 2007 Posted February 27, 2007 I agree with the others, the hood is too square at the front but it looks great anyway.
