They had already in so many words told me to build what "THEY " wanted to see , not Gasoline pumps . I pretty much at that point became a "Closet modeler ". davyou5 Posted October 1, 2010 Posted October 1, 2010 Call me Stupid, Call me godless, Call me what you will, as a Buddhist here, I find that modeling teaches Patients, Concentration, and keeps the Mind focused on one thing. It keeps kids and adults alike out of trouble . So I use modeling as another form of Meditation, and also its cool! Say what you will, this is how I enjoy it.

I know exactly where you are coming from in your post about the clubs! I went to a meeting of a club a friend belonged to thinking of joining! They were getting ready for a national event and was shocked when the president of the club along with three other members (I think club officers) went to an older gentleman and asked him not to enter his models and went on to suggest if he still intended to he should not to enter his as being from the club!!! It was one of the most shameful things I have ever witnessed! I walked out right then and there! Haven't looked at joining another club since! BTW Ed! I have no doubt about wht you would have said to them face to face!

I really hope that this abused member didn't return to that club. I just can't see how a well balanced individual(s) could think that this is acceptable behavior?!

I havent spoken with him as he was having some health issues . The gentleman was from south Florida . Me, I do my own thing these days ............... Ed Shaver
