Anyone know which model Porsche it's based on? I think it's the 356b or 356c but not sure.

Just a 356 Speedster 54-55 (likely) or late model 55-57 356A.

Was replaced by the Roadster and D Convertable which were your Bs and Cs.

I have built this kit, and I really hate the fit of the wheels and how they protrude past the fenders.

It is absolutely positively supposed to be a 356A Speedster with the the unusual-in-a-Speedster 4-cam Carrera engine.

For what it's worth, the proportions of the body of this thing, even the windshield, are all wrong. Wonky, wonky, horrifically wonky.

Still, a cool vintage kit. Just don't expect it to look good sitting next to a much-more-correct 356A from Fujimi.
