Hey all! well i mostly only build Nascar or Racecar models but after my last build i needed a change of scenery so i took my girlfriend to hobby lobby and had her pick out a car she liked and i'd build it to the colors and design she had thought of. As for the 69' camaro, i'm a chevy guy so i just had to get it. i should have just got a regular silver paint but instead i got silver metalic which looks a little much to me but let me know what you think!

They both look like great builds to me.

As for the camaro I, personally, don't like the way the metallic paints look. They just don't look smooth to me.

Perhaps it's just that I'm an old school kind of guy.

Thanks for all the comments guys, I did have trouble with the hood, it seemed as if the hood was warped. As for the camaro I agree with you Donald, even with clear over the paint it just doesn't look right. I should have gone with a gunmetal or plain silver paint.

They look nice and I agree on that silver paint, it is almost cartoonish with the flakes in it! Nice clean builds and you will just have to get another '69 Camaro with the HL coupon this week!

I see you are from Kenosha, I used to live nearby and travel there to go to Don's Hobbies- did he finally retire and close his shop?
