Chuck Doan Posted October 22, 2010 Posted October 22, 2010 I did a makeover of a Danbury mint Fordson for my Dad. Took about a years’ worth of modeling time to do. More here: http://public.fotki.com/ChuckDoan/model_projects/tractor_for_the/ Before and after:
Harry P. Posted October 22, 2010 Posted October 22, 2010 The only thing that gives it away as a model and not the real thing is your hand. Great work!
Scalper Posted October 22, 2010 Posted October 22, 2010 The only thing that gives it away as a model and not the real thing is your hand. Great work! I would have to agree, the mud looks great. Really like how you did the engine.
Chuck Most Posted October 22, 2010 Posted October 22, 2010 Looks like a pretty good replica to start with- but the weathering makes it incredibly cool! I'd rather see an old Fordson 'wearing its old work clothes' than one all restored and dolled up. But I may be biased- my grandfather has a barnful of weathered old Fordsons!
AzTom Posted October 23, 2010 Posted October 23, 2010 Awesome Chuck, I enjoy this one every time I see it. AzTom
