  1. Super clean building-definitely correct Registered Texaco rest rooms!
  2. Price, driving range and re-charge times (and building recharge stations) all need to improve for electric cars to really catch on. As technology marches on, it will be interesting when Nascar and Formula 1 cars are all electric and self-driving...."Drivers start your engines" will be completely obsolete!
  3. Crazy wonderful Tom! Beautiful work.
  4. Very nice Art! This has likely been brought up here before: http://www.uschivdr.com/ Might be something useful there.
  5. In Solidworks you can save the screen image of your part directly as a JPEG. Do " save as" and choose JPEG instead of part. Or import a shaded view into a drawing and save as a JPEG. Now you should have your picture. Do a print preview to see how it will look before saving.
  6. I loved it when I was 13-got to see that Johnny Lightning car in it's garage and on track at the Ontario Motor Speedway. I did enjoy all the different types of cars back in those days. Like Jim Hurtubise and the front engine Mallard. And the Ford and Offy engines (and others). I still watch the Indy cars these days.
  7. Yes, Nice! I did an O scale version and it took a lot of fiddling to get things to fit.
  8. That came out great! Very nice feel to it.
  9. Hi Tom, As I recall I mixed in some weathering pigments with the gouache. I use a brand from Bragdon enterprises, but there are numerous suppliers (Dr. Ben, AIM products). The nice part is these materials are infinitely re-workable (with water) until you get something you like. I just applied them straight onto the surface. I use a sharp toothpick to make marks as you say.
