  1. http://www.flickr.com/photos/bossmustang/sets/72157622945726489/ Came across this set of pictures. I don't know if they have been posted before, pardon me if they have. Good reference for those thinking about a dealer dio.
  2. Nice! Thanks for reminding me what a good looking car that was.
  3. Sorry, Richard, I thought this was the place to talk about pickups as well (as it says in the sub-title of this topic). It isn't my work, or from this forum so it seemed like a good place. The moderators can certainly move it if required. Thanks James, Merry Christmas to you and everyone else! CD
  4. http://public.fotki.com/f1ford49/my-first-album/#media Here is a link to the album. Beautiful work!
  5. Here are links to some very nice weathered trucks: http://www.finescalerr.com/smf/index.php?topic=2307.0 http://www.finescalerr.com/smf/index.php?topic=2277.0 Some of the best work I have seen.
  6. 1/43 scale car. Brush painted and hurry up dried under a desk lamp. Funny now, not then!
  7. Excellent job! Great subject and super scratchbuilding. Maybe some powders on the tire treads, but I imagine these were probably kept up nice, like most civilian fire trucks.
  8. Beautiful job! I agree, great color combo. Welcome back!
  9. Came out nice! I like the stock period look.
  10. Excellent! Don't let the sun melt it!
  11. I am glad to catch up with this again. Just a terrific job on this. i'm glad it's shown in it's prime, there was a time when it mattered to keep things looking clean. I love the utilities (elec. and gas meter) Beautiful job Tom, I look forward to seeing your Texaco project as it evolves (or whatever else you do!)
  12. One that does it for me is the original Meyers Manx kit that came with the cutout drive-in.
  13. Well done! Very clean design and build of same.
  14. Great info! That car was one of my favorites back in the day.
  15. That is awesome! Surprising color combo. Beautiful build.
  16. Nice work everybody!
  17. Considering the time it took to create the parts on the computer, the price seems like a bargain. It still may not be worth it to some, but it looks like a pretty good value for a low quantity custom kit. I wonder how they amortize the design time for something like this? I imagine there will still be a lot of clean-up required to get a nice finish compared to injection molded parts. Very encouraging though!
