h3ae86 Posted October 29, 2010 Posted October 29, 2010 (edited) This is hands down my favorite build so far. I went all out on this Build. I did my first chop top. I made a custom wooden bed. I did some wiring for the first time. I stole the engine and rear slicks off of my Chevelle (junkyard hero), and cleaned them up. Also I made My first custom exhasut from sprue. yeah this is definitely my most heavily modified build to date. It started like this and ended up like this I was going to put headlights on but I couldn't find a place where they would look right. I only wired the battery which i placed in the bed cause I thought It looked cool this is probably my last post for a while because I don't have anymore kits to work on and no money to get more. Thanks for looking Edited October 29, 2010 by h3ae86
fatkidd Posted October 29, 2010 Posted October 29, 2010 i really like this. maybe its due to the fact that it isn't flat/satin black. i think you did a great job conveying, "build with what you had or what was available. killer job!
davyou5 Posted October 29, 2010 Posted October 29, 2010 Yes that is an Excellent Job there on that truck, it's very realistic, and creative at the same time. I see you let the creative process flow while at the same time having fun with it! . Now that's what it is all about .
oldscool Posted October 29, 2010 Posted October 29, 2010 That is creative and different. I am assuming you are going for the roughly chopped look. My one suggestion would be to shorten the bed.
