RacinRay88 Posted November 2, 2010 Posted November 2, 2010 hey all, so im a little stuck on what wheels and tires to use for this car, either go for a more classic look, or go with a newer more custom look #1 #2 let me know what you think guys! thanks
bigdodge88 Posted November 2, 2010 Posted November 2, 2010 Looks like you are off to a good start. I have been thinking about picking this kit up as well. Do you like it so far?

dwc43 Posted November 2, 2010 Posted November 2, 2010 I like the stock rims you have there. New 16 in up wheels don't look good on older cars or muscle. They don't handle well on the older 1:1 cars either.
W-409 Posted November 3, 2010 Posted November 3, 2010 Looking good so far. Put those normal size wheels, those big ones are looking ugly, I think. It looks much better with those normal wheels... I'll be watching this project for sure.
75th Ranger Posted November 6, 2010 Posted November 6, 2010 (edited) I would go with a american racing tybe wheels heres the link http://www.megahobby.com/ts23chromerimswtires41-24-1-25pegasus.aspx And do you have any updates? Edited November 7, 2010 by 75th Ranger
RacinRay88 Posted November 17, 2010 Author Posted November 17, 2010 Ok here are a few updated pictures. Primed the body after some body work, tried to fill gaps and worked in my spoiler. a shot of the interior and engine. its slow going right now! cant wait to really be able to work non-stop on it.
Jason Vandergriff Posted November 18, 2010 Posted November 18, 2010 Looking good. Ive got mine back on the workbench. Have tried to test fit the chassis in the body like that? Mine didn't like trying to be test fitted like tat and put alot of stress on the rear filler panel. Just something to look out for. heres mine. http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=26603&st=0&p=263980&hl=camaro&fromsearch=1&#entry263980
75th Ranger Posted November 19, 2010 Posted November 19, 2010 Looks good, a 2 inch hood scoop would go good, let me know if you want the link for the hood.
