Making Spoliers

[75th Ranger]

Im getting a AMT 1/2 1970 Camaro, for christmas and the spolier is way to small, does any one know how to make them?

The Baldwin Motion version of that kit that was out in the late 1990s has that spoiler. Missing Link casts it in resin and is available for purchase.

as thin as that spoiler seems to be it should be possible to build it out of sheet styrene

Actually both spoilers are correct, as both were available on that car. but the baldwin motion version does have the spoiler you are looking for

Yes. We own a real 73 z28 it has the short spoiler, which is correct For a z28

the SS cars had the 3 piece duck wing spoiler. whis has benn mentioned is available in the BM kit

The Z28 had the 3 peace and the 1 peace.

The short and 3 piece spoilers were BOTH available on the Z and SS from 1970 to 1973...As were the RS option which included split bumpers, relocated turn signals, and a longer rubber nose and a different grille.
