The owner of the scrap yard told me the guy who scrapped them used them as crude test mules to try & get a patent for the interior box & cage design. Supposedly, in an accident the independent interior box just floats around & you don't get hurt. :unsure:

I'm not sure about those cars but does that junkyard have any other "interesting" cars..........like that 69 Coronet I see in the background of the first pic ???

Right you are. That is a '69 coronet. Nice body & interior, no drive train. This junkyard sets out in the middle of nowhere. He's got lots of old cars & his prices are fantastic.
