Built this F4-E Phantom II with after market decals markings for the USMC VMFA-451 WARLORDS. I just loved the look of the decals. :)

I think it came out looking pretty good. For a kit that I build back 4 years.

Looks cool but just in case you didn't know...the Marines never flew the E model F-4. 451 flew the J and S model F-4's. No big deal..just one of those picky little things aircraft modelers notice. B)

did anyone recognize the Iranian Phantoms flying escort duty the other day, i forget what the article was in reference to, but those planes must be edging into 45 years of flight time by now....

and that is a beautiful representation regardless of marking accuracy. they are freaking HUGE.....

Her majesty's maiden voyage was 1958, I was 2. She and I grew up together in St Louis. Little did I know she'd be my top cover a short 17 years later when Saigon fell. I love that airplane.

Fell in love with this plane in 71 when the Blue Angles came to Salt Lake City,Utah was able to walk up and touch the number one plane.Beautiful build.

I'm actually waiting for this aircraft, vacuformed, in 24th scale! Should be a BIG rascal!!!! You did a GREAT job on it! :D;)

Vacuformed 1/24 scale???? Who makes one? I want one!!!
