TheCat Posted November 9, 2010 Posted November 9, 2010 Here's my 1967 Shelby GT-350 better known as the real "Eleanor". After watching "Gone in 60 Seconds" with Nicolas Cage and Angelina Jolie. I wanted to paint it with the same metallic gray color. For an AMT kit, it went very well together. I was surprised to see how well it went together for an AMT kit, as they are infamous for not lining up correctly. The end project, the car looks good. This was my first striping job by using the decals in the kit. I was afraid that the color may bleed through the white stripe (as many of my modeling friends warned me about). But as you can see, it went on very nicely. Model: AMT/Ertl # 38492 Built: 4-10-09 Scale: 1/25
Adam deCoste Posted November 9, 2010 Posted November 9, 2010 that looks really good and i like the backround that you use

voljeepx Posted November 9, 2010 Posted November 9, 2010 Great job, Felix. I really like your building style, clean and detailed. Paint looks incredible and those wheels stand out, you must have spent alot of time detail painting those!
TheCat Posted November 10, 2010 Author Posted November 10, 2010 Very nice Felix!! Are you going to do the original "Eleanor" as a companion piece? Yup, That's one of plans.
davyou5 Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 Yes Excellent Job on the Detailing! It's a really Awesome car . Though I myself have had no trouble with metallics bleeding through the Decals, I do believe that this went very well .
