What is the differance between the Mack DM 800 and the DM 825 xs

The DM-800 is the designation for the base model, by which all other variants are derived from. The DM stands for Dumper or Mixer chassis as well as a offset cab. The 8 is the chassis model designation.

In a DM-825SX (not xs), the second 2 numbers are for the engine & rear suspension, the S, means 6 wheel or 3 axle, and the X is for sever service. I will have to look in my files later to get the codes for the 25.
