old-hermit Posted November 26, 2010 Posted November 26, 2010 I started the AMT Cat D8H and want to do some detailing on it. Y'all seem to know a lot more about desiel engines than me, so any help would be appreciated. I searched Google but can't find routing for the six fuel lines from the pump to the head. I know they go up and between the valve cover but where do they go from there ? A good pic would help. Thanks in advance.

I model looging, and loggers use thier dozers for many different tasks- including mobile trees for rigging support, etc. Many ROPS could be purchased OEM- (Medford, Tube-Lok, etc), and many were built in logging camp shops and were one-off. In these days of OSHA certification, those days are gone, but here are some different dozer canopy's I have built in past years... Hope this will help some. Use your inagination teamed with old reference photos- there's no 'wrong' way!

That is one perfectly detailed build. Is it yours ? It definately gave me some ideas but I don't think mine will be any where near that good.
