hogs29 Posted March 6, 2007 Posted March 6, 2007 This one is about 2 years old, but it is my favorite build so far. Not because of the subject, mostly because I just like the look of this car. I have not been a huge nascar fan since The Intimidator died, but I still love the cars. I like the ultra-cool paint jobs, and the low-slung and slick look of the bodies. That will change with the coming of the Car Of Tomorrow  Anywho, this is a Revell Pro-Finish Taurus stripped and repainted with Tamiya Camel Yellow. Slixx decals, and 2-part DuPont urethane clear top it off. The tire detailing and stick pins I used for spoiler rivits are ideas I got from David Thibodeau, one of the finest nascar modelers around. On to the pics:
Guest roadkill2525 Posted March 6, 2007 Posted March 6, 2007 Where did the car run at, I can't remember the paint job. Im more of the classic NASCAR, I like the cars from 1958 to 1999.
gasman Posted March 6, 2007 Posted March 6, 2007 awsome build, always liked those older Matt Kenseth Cars, BTW, according to Jayski he ran that car in 2002 at the Coke 600
Mike Posted March 6, 2007 Posted March 6, 2007 I'd love to just sit and look at it too! GREAT job with the whole build!
