I use a spray bottle on my cat, to spray him with water when he does something, it works so well that if he does something he shouldn't, all I have to do is pick the bottle up & he stops & runs! :) 8)

My one cat that works on.........but the other one has gotten to the point that he'll turn his back and sit there and take it! It's only if I shoot him square in the face that he'll run! :?

Getting back to foil.........has anyone tried putting the foil in the fridge or freezer to extend the shelf life? I thought I heard about this somewhere................it would be a benefit to me since my completed builds are usually several months apart.

The non sticking of foil is a sore spot with me...............I just get frustrated and go out and buy a new sheet! That's such a waste though as the stuff isn't exactly cheap for a sheet of it.

And yes, the Detail Master BMF was a problem to keep from curling when off the backing. I haven't used their foil for years and I'm not sure if they still make it.

I've found a good use for BMF, on my Days of Thunder Hardee's Lumina I used it on the driver's side floor as heat sheilding. I haven't used it on the window moldings because I don't like the final product.

Any other ideals on using BMF besides chrome moldings?

Those industrial q-tips are great, they only have the q-tip on one end, the othe end is just the stick itself. They do leave fuzz if you use them too long. A trick with them is to twist the q-tip end tighter before you start.

I'll have to try Bill's chamois tip on my next BMF venture.
