FIREMODELMAN Posted March 8, 2007 Posted March 8, 2007 well here is my take on a late 60's rescue truck, that has been well took care of, and had some modern updates along the way. more constuction and finished pics in my fotki album. thanks for looking, dave.
Diesel Gypsy Posted March 8, 2007 Posted March 8, 2007 Very nice indeed. A realy good take on the old Ford kit. Is there anything you cant turn into a fire truck ? True craftmanship.
Casey429 Posted March 8, 2007 Posted March 8, 2007 Is there anything you cant turn into a fire truck ? I think's that's all he knows. Nice job on it. The blue definitley makes it stand out in s sea of red, white, and yellow. That's not the first blue firetruck I've seen, this Mack regularly makes an appearnce at the local VFD's summer fair. I wonder why this never caught on, you can usually hear them before you see them. I think it looks great on a firetruck.
FIREMODELMAN Posted March 9, 2007 Author Posted March 9, 2007 THANK YOU for the nice comments . i have to agree about the blue color, it really grabs your eye for some reason, maybe because it is different?? thanks again, dave.
Old Albion Posted March 10, 2007 Posted March 10, 2007 What a great looking truck, yes the colour scheme does grab your attention. I like it!
SpreadAxle Posted March 25, 2007 Posted March 25, 2007 That rocks!!! i like the shade of blue!!! I have only seen one department with blue trucks. It's the Carnegie, PA VFD. theirs are baby blue. If you go to greentree, PA, which is the next exit up on I 279, theirs are my favorite color: GREEN! This is a sharp truck though.
