  1. A slightly modified build. I posed steering wheels and figure to create some movement interest and subtly reconfigured the suspension to show some slight cornering compression. It was an enjoyable build I hope you enjoy the pictures. Comments always welcome.
  2. Welcome to the house of fun. No strangers here, just friends that haven't met yet.

  5. Welcome aboard Byron. I'm really sorry to hear that you've lost your job. There are some truly tragic things happening right now. Seek some solace here my friend, you're among friends. Looking forward to seeing your builds.
  6. Great minds think alike JT. It's always been in my mind to build a transporter for it. The plan, such as it is, is to convert one of the Nastro Azzurro kits, I have 2, into something like the picture below. From this; To this; ...but with an Actros tractor.
  7. A great pair of Cuda's! I particularly like the orange colour.
  8. Hi folks I hope you're doing ok and are well. I built this truck a while ago for a Motorsports group build. It's by no means a shake'n'bake kit and challenged me at times but it was very enjoyable. I hope you like it. Stay safe. Regards Dave.
  9. Welcome Graham. Its nice to see a fellow West Country man here. I’m in Somerset and also a keen truck builder, although I dabble with cars as well. Crack open a cold one and enjoy yourself here.
  10. I really like the understated look of this tractor, I think your excellent colour choice and the toned down chrome parts emphasise this well. A very nice build, congratulations.
  11. Now that is right up my ally. Absolutely love every inch of it.
  12. I know this post isnt model related, but I'd like to share this special moment with my friends here. Hank the Saanen goat gave birth to twins about an hour ago. All are doing well.
  13. Ya got'a love those old street fighters. A beautiful build sir, sharp & to the point. Love it.
  14. A change of pace for me tonight. I dragged out this old Aerodyne & tanker out that I started ssssooooo long ago I can't remember. This is a rebuild & to be honest the hard yard are done. Just the cab to finish & some bits & bobs to do on the tanker. So this is the bench as I left it tonight.
  15. Thank you all very much for your kind words. warra48 Posted 09 January 2012 - 09:34 PM Love the work you did on this one. Very very nice. What's the kit you worked from? I'm pleased you like the Plymouth Rob. The kit is an AMT offering. I think its quite an old tooling, it certainly gives that imperssion any way, but it builds up nicely. I don't consider myself a particularly competent builder & I didn't have any major problems. Here's a piccy of the kit box at the start of the build.
