W-409 Posted December 19, 2010 Posted December 19, 2010 Nice. '60 Nomad is very nice car and you have built this pretty simple kit very nicely. Is it Bad Actor or Street Fighter...? Where is that "Guicksilver" decal from? Paint looks good and color is just perfect. It would be nice to see some engine pictures. It's sad that it's very hard to make this kit look like original. Well, that doesn't really matter, 'cause I have resin kit from '60 Nomad... But yes, this one looks very good, keep on building!
sobpinstriping Posted December 19, 2010 Posted December 19, 2010 I keep on seeing thies older kits built up, did you build them back in the day or are they kits you have built up recently? by the way they look good.

impcon Posted December 19, 2010 Posted December 19, 2010 Looks good! A nice, clean build and very nicely done even if I am not a race/drag car fan. Well done! I agree that it is too bad that this can not be built stock. I have the Flintstone '60 sedan delivery and it needs major surgery. While the actual quality of the body is good, it's really pretty inaccurate. Not sure who did the master for that but they should have spent a bit more time on it IMHO and finished off the rear quarters and tail gate properly and also the roof height as this seems to have the lower hardtop roof. *sighs* Oh well.... it's better than nothing I guess.

Well .the idea with the quicksilver , street fighter and bad actor is that they are fiberglass repo bodies, made to be sleeper car killersfrom the late 60's. Thats why the bodies are not factory correct.
